Bae had been with Yohan for a time now. Enough for him to have adjusted to life with him but not enough for all the spoiling to not surprise him. Right when he thought he'd done everything, Bae found himself in a trip to the mountains. To the snow.

It was beautiful. He couldn't stop looking out the window at the soft flakes as they fell. Only the feel of strong arms around him pulled him away from the view.

He gasped softly and looked back at him.

"We really get to stay here for a few days?" Even the room they were in was so beautiful. Warm, inviting. A fireplace and a kitchen with everything to make hot drinks. It was amazing.

"A whole week," Yohan corrected as he pressed in close and rested his chin on Bae's shoulder to join him in admiring the view. A secluded place in the mountains, just the two of them. No bustling city, no entourage. Business was likely to crop up, but it's nothing he couldn't manage from his phone. There was a hierarchy for a reason, after all. If the people he left in charge couldn't handle day-to-day affairs without him holding their hands... Well, they'll end up demoted. Or worse.

"Just you and me, Bae," he purred, letting that softness he usually kept under wraps surface. It's seldom seen by anyone but Bae — with good reason. A man in his position cannot be perceived as having weakness. Anyone could call Bae his weakness, but it would take a truly foolish person to strike there. That and, well, Yohan kept his lover well protected.

"There's a surprise," he added, the smile audible in his voice. "Look." He reached out and pressed a finger against the snow-chilled pane of glass. On the patio was a patch of ground that seemed untouched by the snow. The hot tub was closed to keep it, well, hot, but the snow around it melted.

A whole week. Just them. It made him smile and he leaned back into Yohan. For a moment anyway. Then he leaned forward to look at what was being pointed out to him. "Oh!"

A soft gasp and he looked back at him. "That's on our property too? We can go in the water in the cold?"

That sounded...really wonderful actually!

It was meant to be a surprise, so Yohan didn't tell him to pack swimwear. Not like they needed it when it was just the two of them. However, Yohan was sure to pack an extra fluffy robe for Bae to wrap up in on the way to and from the hot tub.

A subtle smile played across his lips and Yohan took a step back, holding out a hand to beckon Bae to follow. "The water will keep us warm. C'mon, let's get changed."

He took the hand and smiled at him. It would be cold going there but he didn't mind. Yohan would keep him safe and warm. He always did.

"I didn't bring my swimsuit..."

Yohan gave him such a look, eyes darting over Bae from head to toe then back again.

"Is there something you need to hide from me?" As if he hasn't seen and memorized every inch of Bae's body already. It's a tease despite the serious look on his face. It's barely a beat before his expression softens again and he tugs Bae back to the bedroom where their suitcases are.

"I brought something for you to wear so you won't be too cold."

All this time later and the man could still make him blush. Bae smiled and followed after him to the bedroom. Then he gave a soft laugh.

"You didn't tell me because this was a surprise." Oh he loved this man.

"Are you certain? Maybe I just wanted a new and exciting excuse to get you naked." Yohan raised his brows, a faint challenge in his expression. Then he turned away, releasing Bae's hand so he could rummage through his bag for the robe. Yohan produced it with a flourish, though there's nothing special about it. It looked like a very common white bathrobe from a hotel. It would keep the worst of the cold away while they run (literally run) out to the hot tub.

Handing it off to Bae, Yoahn wasted little time in digging out the second, identical robe for himself. And stripping out of his clothes. Oh, did he mention they're going out to the hot tub now?

He gave a shy little smile before accepting the robe. It was so soft and fluffy and... Oh they were changing now! Bae quickly set it to the side and rushed to get this clothes off so he could get ready to run to the hot water. At least he wasn't shy about being naked around his lover anymore!

Getting the robe on but not belted yet, he ran his hands over it. "It's so soft."

He kind of wanted a robe like this at home too but wasn't sure if he should ask for something like that. Yohan already gave him so much.

In truth, Bae could ask for almost anything and Yohan could give it to him. Anything but his freedom, in fact. No, he had to stay with Yohan and that was that. Anything else, he could have. Anything else, Yohan will give him happily. Bae never asked for much.

Yohan slipped into his robe, tying the belt to keep the robe closed tight against the cold outside. Closing the space between them, he reached out to lay his hand against the side of Bae's neck, thumb rubbing lightly against that warm skin. "It's yours now, my darling."

As if Yohan would let him use it just for this little adventure of theirs. No, it was yet another gift for Bae. Typically, Yohan liked to get him useful things like clothes. But if he ever expresses desire for something else, it's a safe bet Yohan will give it to him.

His hand fell away to pull Bae's robe closed tightly and tie the belt around his waist. He leaned in for a quick kiss, then took the young man's hands in his. "Ready?"

His. Yohan was being so generous again. It made him smile as those lips met his and he allowed his lover to belt the robe. "Thank you. I love it."

Then Bae nodded because he was ready. More than ready! It would be so cold but there was warmth waiting at the end of it.

"Please. I want to go in the water now."

This was a side of himself that literally no one else ever saw. It was reserved only for Bae, whom he trusted. Why shouldn’t he when he basically trained him for the role? It took time, but in the end it was worth it. Bae needed someone to look after him and Yohan needed someone he could open up to.

“Let’s go.”

Leading Bae through the cabin, he brought them to the backdoor where he paused only briefly to mentally prepare. The rush of cold when he opened the door was bitter and pulled a quiet ‘wooo’ from Yohan. And then? He ran!

Even though the path to the hot tub was clear, if was chilling beneath their bare feet. Next time, he decided, they would get slippers, too! Yohan was quick to unlatch the cover and throw it wide. Steam spilled forth, heat radiating from the water. He waved for Bae to get in while he turned on the jets (and followed quickly behind).

Laughing, he ran after Yohan. The cold was biting but he barely noticed as he shed his robe and slid into the water. A gasp as the heat but then he happily settled into it, fascinated by the snow falling as he was in the warm water.

As soon as Yohan was in too, he climbed onto his lap. Nuzzling, he gave him an affectionate little kiss.

"This is so beautiful. It's like a dream."

Ah, how he loved to hear Bae laugh like that. It was so natural how it bubbled up from him. So genuine and not forced. It did wonders to help Yohan feel more at ease, as well. It let him forget his worries, if even for a few seconds. To think they had an entire week together!

Yohan got into the hot tub with a splash, sinking neck-deep into the warm water that made his skin go pink. He welcomed Bae closer, leaning into that sweet little kiss and then bumping their noses together.

"Don't you know it, yet? I will make all of your dreams come true, Bae. Each and every one of them."

"I don't even know what my dreams are but you make them come true." Who would have thought such a thing could happen with someone like Yohan. Yet it did every single day. He smiled at him and wrapped his arms around his neck.

"Thank you for this. I can't believe we have the whole week. Are there more surprises still?" He was practically vibrating just thinking about it!

"They wouldn't be surprises if I told you," he quipped. Of course there were more. Fancy dinners, gifts, movie nights with popcorn and hot cocoa. Maybe even a little romance. Given that there was no one here to see them, to quietly criticize Yohan privately. Oh, how he hated that any of his subordinates thought it their places to do that. A week without that will be so pleasant.

Yohan wrapped his arms loosely around Bae's waist, trailing his fingers in meaningless patterns over his lower back. "We will find your dreams together," he sighed happily. "And make them all come true together."

"What are your dreams? Can I help make them come true?" Using his wet hands, Bae pushed his fingers through that dark hair. So pretty. It always was. And he loved that he got to touch it like this. Anytime he wanted really.

"I want to help make your dreams come true too." Do this together. In every way. It meant the world to him.

"My dreams?" Yohan's eyes drifted closed as those fingers tangled in his hair. Did he really have anything beyond the ambition instilled in him? Family glory and all that. He sucked in a deep breath and exhaled it slowly before opening his eyes to peer at Bae once again.

"I dream of destroying everything that stands in my way with you by my side."

That should have scared him. It really should have. But this was Yohan who was his everything. He trusted him. Loved him. So instead he thought about that more and hummed a little before...

"Um I guess I'll help make that come true by being at your side. Will that work?" Bae tilted his head to the side as he pondered how to help with that. He wasn't good at destruction after all.

Such a thoughtful boy. So guileless. Everything that wasn't what Yohan was used to. Even his closest associates wanted something from their relationship: status, money, influence. What did Bae want? Only Yohan — the man, the monster that his life made him; not what he could provide. Yohan's sure if he was some middle class nobody, if he'd been able to get Bae a safe space, Bae would still want him.

However cut-throat and violent his life may be, he never wanted Bae to dirty his hands with it. But Yohan didn't hide any of that from him, either. As long as Bae was with him, he deserved honesty. Brutal honesty in some cases.

"That's all I want," he assured softly. One hand raised from the water to brush his fingertips over Bae's cheek. "I won't let anything take you from me."

"I don't ever want to leave you."

He'd given up on knowing his old life. It had abandoned him so he wanted to be with the one who taken him in. Things had started out...different. But they were good now. Everything was wonderful.

"I love you."

Indeed, things weren't always this... easy. They didn't start out this comfortable. Yohan's fully aware of his trespasses and the ones he'd committed against Bae were many. But that was in the beginning. And Yohan was nothing if not a 'the end justifies the means' sort.

"Say it again." No, that wasn't some romantic thing. It was a command.

Once upon a time the orders made him nervous. Not anymore. Not from Yohan. Bae gazed into his eyes, ran fingers through that dark hair again. Then he gave him a soft kiss before speaking.

"I love you."

And he loved saying it too.

"That's my boy," he sighed in contentment. His hands ran up Bae's back, fingers splaying between his shoulder blades. Pulling him closer, Yohan leaned in to press their lips together. This kiss was firm, more urgent than the little pecks they've shared since their arrival. But it doesn't linger very long. No, Yohan breaks away, then pressed their foreheads together.

"And I love you."

Melting into the kiss, he pressed himself against his lover. When it ended he felt tingly in the best way, smiling at him. Nuzzling his forehead with his own, he let out a happy sigh.

"The air is so cold but it feels good with the water. I like it."
