snow: first snow of the season/ever, making snowpeople, forts, or snow angels, snowball fights, snowed in
warm: hot drinks, warm blankets, crackling fires, busting out the winter coats and socks, baking in a cozy kitchen
holidays: decorating, picking out a tree, preparing the big holiday meal, exchanging gifts
activities: shopping, cooking, sledding, ice skating, cuddling with someone special
new year: par-tay!, toast, countdown, midnight kiss

"I don't even know what my dreams are but you make them come true." Who would have thought such a thing could happen with someone like Yohan. Yet it did every single day. He smiled at him and wrapped his arms around his neck.

"Thank you for this. I can't believe we have the whole week. Are there more surprises still?" He was practically vibrating just thinking about it!

"They wouldn't be surprises if I told you," he quipped. Of course there were more. Fancy dinners, gifts, movie nights with popcorn and hot cocoa. Maybe even a little romance. Given that there was no one here to see them, to quietly criticize Yohan privately. Oh, how he hated that any of his subordinates thought it their places to do that. A week without that will be so pleasant.

Yohan wrapped his arms loosely around Bae's waist, trailing his fingers in meaningless patterns over his lower back. "We will find your dreams together," he sighed happily. "And make them all come true together."

"What are your dreams? Can I help make them come true?" Using his wet hands, Bae pushed his fingers through that dark hair. So pretty. It always was. And he loved that he got to touch it like this. Anytime he wanted really.

"I want to help make your dreams come true too." Do this together. In every way. It meant the world to him.

"My dreams?" Yohan's eyes drifted closed as those fingers tangled in his hair. Did he really have anything beyond the ambition instilled in him? Family glory and all that. He sucked in a deep breath and exhaled it slowly before opening his eyes to peer at Bae once again.

"I dream of destroying everything that stands in my way with you by my side."

That should have scared him. It really should have. But this was Yohan who was his everything. He trusted him. Loved him. So instead he thought about that more and hummed a little before...

"Um I guess I'll help make that come true by being at your side. Will that work?" Bae tilted his head to the side as he pondered how to help with that. He wasn't good at destruction after all.

Such a thoughtful boy. So guileless. Everything that wasn't what Yohan was used to. Even his closest associates wanted something from their relationship: status, money, influence. What did Bae want? Only Yohan — the man, the monster that his life made him; not what he could provide. Yohan's sure if he was some middle class nobody, if he'd been able to get Bae a safe space, Bae would still want him.

However cut-throat and violent his life may be, he never wanted Bae to dirty his hands with it. But Yohan didn't hide any of that from him, either. As long as Bae was with him, he deserved honesty. Brutal honesty in some cases.

"That's all I want," he assured softly. One hand raised from the water to brush his fingertips over Bae's cheek. "I won't let anything take you from me."

"I don't ever want to leave you."

He'd given up on knowing his old life. It had abandoned him so he wanted to be with the one who taken him in. Things had started out...different. But they were good now. Everything was wonderful.

"I love you."

Indeed, things weren't always this... easy. They didn't start out this comfortable. Yohan's fully aware of his trespasses and the ones he'd committed against Bae were many. But that was in the beginning. And Yohan was nothing if not a 'the end justifies the means' sort.

"Say it again." No, that wasn't some romantic thing. It was a command.

Once upon a time the orders made him nervous. Not anymore. Not from Yohan. Bae gazed into his eyes, ran fingers through that dark hair again. Then he gave him a soft kiss before speaking.

"I love you."

And he loved saying it too.

"That's my boy," he sighed in contentment. His hands ran up Bae's back, fingers splaying between his shoulder blades. Pulling him closer, Yohan leaned in to press their lips together. This kiss was firm, more urgent than the little pecks they've shared since their arrival. But it doesn't linger very long. No, Yohan breaks away, then pressed their foreheads together.

"And I love you."

Melting into the kiss, he pressed himself against his lover. When it ended he felt tingly in the best way, smiling at him. Nuzzling his forehead with his own, he let out a happy sigh.

"The air is so cold but it feels good with the water. I like it."

"It's a wonderful contrast, isn't it?" The water kept them warm enough and if they got too cold, they could simply dip back under it.

"I'll bring you here in every season so you can enjoy them all and pick your favorite, okay?"

"Every season? Really?"

That sounded like fun and he wanted to see how everything changed. Would the colors be different? Bae smiled and leaned back to look at him.

"Yes please!"

"Every one," he repeated. "I think winter is my favorite now." Now that he's been able to bring Bae here and have this moment with him. Nevermind the solitude, the break from business, the breathtaking view, the romantic atmosphere. Sure, that's all great and things Yohan can mostly enjoy on his own. It's Bae's wonder that made this particular visit much more memorable.

"Really?" He looked around then and even held his hand up as if it was possible to catch snow with this heat. It still felt nice to try. To watch the snow fall to his hand.

"I want to wait and see which season is the one that feels...like you."

"Like me?" Yohan wasn't sure he understood, but he liked what he thought the sentiment was. What's not to like in the person who makes Yohan feel like a person wanting to enjoy something best because it reminds Bae of him? For a moment, he watched the snow drift into Bae's hand, melting before it can even touch him. Then he reached up to draw the boy's hand to him, pressing a warm kiss into his palm.

"You'll have many, many seasons to learn. There's no rush."

Looking down, he watched the kiss press to his skin. He smiled at the feel of those warm lips.

"Bright and powerful and safe. Like you. If it feels like that then that will be my favorite." Bae nodded and then traced his fingers over Yohan's cheek.

"That's what you are like."

Another warm, wet kiss to Bae's wrist and then Yohan releases his hold of it. One slides down the young man's spin to rest on one hip and the other traced the lines of his face. Quickly cooling fingers followed the curve of Bae's cheek, the slope of his jaw, eyes following with awe. So often when he looked at Bae, it was like seeing a human for the first time. Not a chess piece, not an asset, an actual person. And Bae is the only one he saw that way.

"You are my anchor, Bae. You allow me a space to be human."

"But I don't do anything..."

Yohan took care of him and made sure they had space together. He treated him like he was special. His treasure. All Bae could do was accept it.

And he did. Every step of the way. His love wasn't even pretend anymore.

"You do everything for me."

"You exist," he sighed. Ah, but there's such intensity in his voice, in those words. "That's enough."

Dropping his hand back into the water, Yohan looped his arms around Bae's waist, then graced him with a smile. "All you have to do is exist here with me. That's all I need for you to do." The smile grows smaller but no less affectionate. How could it be anything but that? So full of that obsessive kind of love that most people might see as dangerous (to Bae or Yohan, who knows?).

"Isn't it nice being here without anyone else to distract us?"

Just exist. It was all Yohan wanted. He could do that. He could exist and be his boy. His Bae. Leaning into him, he tilted his head before wiggling closer to get more under the water for a bit. Time to warm up.

"I like when it's just us." Because he could get shy about others seeing them in intimate moments. Even if only accidentally. But he could just be relaxed now. Enjoy trying to be sexy even if he felt he was bad at it.

"May I give you a surprise?"

That earned a cheeky grin. "Only if it's a nice surprise."

Bae have a little giggle then suddenly threw his arms around him to give him a lingering kiss. He didn't have anything to give him, Yohan knew that. But this? This he could do and gladly!

Yohan could be shameless when he wanted to be. He didn't care if there was an audience around most of the time. But not with Bae. Bae was just for him. And, well, he gets a bit shy when others were around. Yohan did enough of making him uncomfortable in the beginning. He's done with doing that intentionally now.

Instead, he wanted to savor this moment alone with his lover. The feel of his body pressed close, his wet skin, both warm and cold depending how he sat in the water. Yohan's fingers splayed wide, moving up and down the boy's back as his pressed his tongue between those pretty lips for a deeper taste.

When he pulled away, Yohan's tongue darted over lips, a wicked smile pulling at them. His hands slid down Bae's back, lower and lower to cup his ass and jerk him even closer still.

"Are you trying to turn me on?"

Yohan had a way of devouring his mouth that was so exciting. It caused a moan to slip from his mouth and the shuddered. Followed quickly by a yelp when he felt those hands yank him closer. Then he smiled a little.

"No." He hadn't even thought about that but... "Is it working?"
