[Anubis is a morning person (god), which means that he rarely if ever has any company for his breakfasts at the cafe. He doesn't seem to mind as he sips from his coffee and juice in turn and tries a new light meal or pastry every day, but he'll be DELIGHTED if someone does show up and definitely try to wave them over to join him at his table. If he doesn't know them yet, he'll just introduce himself cheerfully.]

(( Anubis isn't the only early riser amongst them. He may have noticed Ianuaria also at the cafe for the last few mornings. She's certainly noticed him and his quest to try different things. This morning, she noticed that he ordered something she herself tried earlier in the week. As she walks by, she pauses near his table, her own items in hand. ))

That's good. I had it a few days ago.

[He's been meaning to introduce himself to Ianuaria, he really has. Even he's not sure why he gets so quiet whenever she arrives, except that he's never seen a girl that looks quite like her and it makes him feel extremely shy. Maybe the first inklings of a crush?

When she suddenly stops to talk to him, his heart jumps into his throat and he finds himself touching the back of his hair to make sure it's all neatly in place.]

Oh! Really? I'm glad! But I haven't had anything really bad here yet, so I'm not surprised...

[After a brief, uneasy silence, Anubis finally works up the courage to ask:]
