It's been a long day and even longer evening. It was rewarding and overall incredibly fun getting to spend all that time with Vincent but it doesn't change the fact that he's glad to be heading up to his apartment. It is times like this, however, when he wishes it wasn't an apartment that he was headed to but rather a dorm right there on campus. He doesn't live terribly far from the college, but the walk back tonight felt so much longer than it usually does. The walk, itself, isn't too bothersome (he spent most of his life walking around parts of Seoul which is notoriously uphill, so a lot of walking doesn't really bother him. That American boomer thing of apparently walking to school uphill both ways? That originated with a pink-hair Korean boy!) but he's just eager to be back in his own space. Today was a lot of being around other people.
With wings in hand, Hayun unlocks the door to his apartment and steps inside. That there's a light coming from the living room area doesn't immediately strike him as odd. He just assumes he accidentally left it on in his eagerness to meet up with Vincent. He'll be more careful next time. The last thing he wants to do is to be disrespectful to Yohan and run up the electricity bill unnecessarily.
Speaking of Yohan, Hayun grabs his phone and starts to type up a text for him, describing the day he just spent with his friend in great detail. The things they did, the costumes he saw. Cute decorations and fun foods. Oh and he has pictures too, don't worry! He doesn't even get through half of what he intends to say, though, when he practically jumps out of his skin and everything he's holding goes tumbling to the floor with a startled gasp. When all of his visits are pre-planned, coming home to someone being here out of nowhere is a shock. And when Yohan's next visit hadn't even come up in conversation yet meaning Hayun expected it to not be for a bit yet, having his boyfriend lounging in his living room (and looking so cute and attractive in his pyjamas, sitting in the big plush mushroom) was just about the last thing he expected to come home to.
"Yohan!" To say that Hayun sprinted across the room (once he got past the shock) does a disservice to the speed with which he closed that distance. He throws himself down onto the older man (deftly avoiding the book. It's not strong enough to be on the receiving end of Hayun's excitement), wrapping arms and legs, both, around Yohan. Full body hug. Hayun missed him. He always misses Yohan. A downside to his college life. "I'm so glad you're here! Why didn't you tell me you were coming? I would've come home sooner."
