[Initially, David's only response is to rest a finger over Lucas's mouth with a soft shh. God, he's got a really nice mouth...

Then he ducks his head to mouth at Lucas's neck and throat, alternating between slightly parted lips and teasing flicks of tongue. All the while he keeps sneaking his fingers just under Lucas's shirt, that sudden shift in his expression right at the front of David's mind. It's both fun and unexpectedly hot to wipe the smile off Lucas's face.]

(( Oh, looks like they’re being serious now. Okay, Lucas can do serious. Or let David show just how serious he wants to be here and now. So Lucas doesn’t argue when David lays a finger over his lips. So he tilts his head slightly to make more room when David dips his head to explore. The breath he sucks in when those warm lips brush his skin isn’t for dramatics. Nor is the way Lucas reaches out for David, or the way his fingers curl tightly in his clothes just over his hips. ))

[David probably could've lingered at Lucas's mouth and just made out with him for the rest of the night, if not for the long-frustrated interest and curiosity that Lucas has kindled in him now demanding to see more, feel more, taste more. He undoes a couple of buttons on Lucas's shirt, looks up at him to make sure everything's still good, then continues on until it's spread wide open for David to drink in the sight of Lucas's absurdly defined musculature.]

I can't believe you had this fuckin' body all along and kept it hidden from me as long as you did. [Bottom lip caught between his teeth, David slides his fingertips over the ridge of a pectoral muscle, down one side of his abs and back up the other, before ducking back down to seek out sensitive spots with his mouth. He's already really, really fond of making Lucas gasp.]

(( In a different situation, David would be met with a teasing 'it's the same body I've always had since you've known me.' This no longer feels like the time for that specific flavor of playful. Lucas had done little other than tempered responses. He wants to let David explore, to fully have a chance to see and touch and even taste what he wants to. But he also doesn't want to seem detached or disinterested.

It's the opposite! Lucas is seldom as grounded in any given moment as is right now. This moment with David is important. It deserves his full attention and his honesty. Nothing simply for the sake of dramatics. But for now, he'll let David explore. All while watching him with a singularly intense stare. Sorry if it feels like a thousand eyes are watching, David. They are. ))
