An argument could be made for Hai being a proper co-host. Alas, Iseul doesn't feel like making it. Hai makes a perfectly reasonable point that he had no hand in the planning. Fine. Let this be the last event of Iseul's the vampire attends as a guest.

Those grey eyes remain on the sea of faces, lingering some time before the Fae turns them toward Hai. Hai's more colorful appearance isn't unique among his guests. But it is more precious to Iseul than any of the others. Blue and purple have become a dear color combination to him simply because they, in the right shades, remind him of this creature.
