(( one thing that nicky read over and over again is about the midnight kiss. oh sure, they missed midnight by a lot, but it's still midnight in new york, which they're watching on tv.

when Γ©tienne turns, nicky leans in to close the space between them and press his lips against the man's. it's chaste, for sure, and definitely a little awkward since 1) nicky's never kissed anyone before and 2) he's just sitting there, unmoving. ))
